First and foremost I am a mom of two, Mauricio is 9 and Carolina is 7. I want to say that fifty percent of what I make at home is for them, the other half is for the most patient of husbands, my Richard. We live in South FL, but our roots dig deep in Colombia. I grew up in Rhode Island (yes the tiny state) but traveled constantly to NYC to visit family.
I have always loved to cook, but I shook my wings out and extended them the year I got married. I was master of my own kitchen. I’ve yet to find a recipe that shies me away from trying it. I’ve made breads, jellies, pickles, thanksgiving dinners, you name it. But please do not ask me to make simple white rice, that is my one downfall so far.
